Bio Nesian Mystik are an all male Hip Hop/Pop/Polynesian group who released their first single in New Zealand in November 2002. All members of Nesian Mystik are aged between 21 and 23 years. The single, 'Nesian Style' went to number 2 on the charts and since then they have had 3 successful top ten hits and a number 1 selling album which achieved just over triple platinum status within New Zealand. The group have performed internationally and have a large following in Sydney, Australia, the UK and the Pacific Islands. They have supported international artists Robbie Williams, Missy Elliott, Shaggy and The Black Eyed Peas and have played to crowds of 40,000. Achievements have included the following awards: - NZ Tui for The Best Urban Album - NZ Tui for the People's Choice Award - Juice TV Award 2003 for Best Hip Hop Video - 2003 Entertainers Of The Year Award - bFM Award for Best Urban Album - The APRA Silver Scroll Award in 2003 Nesian Mystik have appeared in an international Coke Advertisement and have recently been the face of the Meningitis Awareness Campaign for The New Zealand Health Commission. The boys were also commissioned to write the score for New Zealand’s first Polynesian Cartoon Bro Town, which is being distributed internationally. Nesian Mystik are presently working on their hugely anticipated second album 'Freshmen' which is due for release July 2006.
